New Clemson MBA Alumni Society receives approval

CLEMSON — The College of Business and Behavioral Science at Clemson University has a new MBA Alumni Society.
 
The society was approved by the Clemson Alumni Council this month. The group's purpose is to develop, maintain and strengthen relationships between Clemson University and MBA students and alumni by providing professional and social events to ensure the continued excellence of Clemson’s graduate business program.
 
The new alumni society will host monthly events to increase and maintain interest. A First Friday event is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 6 at the Lazy Goat Restaurant in Greenville. The MBA society committee is considering future events at the Friday Night Jazz concerts on Main Street in downtown Greenville to take advantage of the popular venue during the spring and summer months.     

As a close to the academic semester, the MBA program will host the annual Spring MBA Social from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, at the Soby’s Corporate Apartment in downtown Greenville. MBA students who qualify for the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and all MBA graduates will be recognized at this event for their achievements. There will be representatives from the newly recognized Clemson MBA Alumni Society there to answer questions and let alumni know how they can get involved with future activities.
