Clemson to host third annual Tiger Paw Classic gymnastics invitational

CLEMSON — Clemson University’s Littlejohn Coliseum will host the third annual Tiger Paw Classic women’s gymnastics invitational Feb. 26 to March 1.

This year 1,460 gymnasts will compete during the four-day competition. It will have 400 more competitors and be a day longer than last year’s invitational. 

The competition will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday. Events are scheduled for 8 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. each day. Events include the bars, floor, vault and beam. A schedule of events is available online.

The cost of attendance is $10 for general admission, $5 for children and students and faculty with a Clemson University ID, and $25 for a family pass for two adults and three children. Participants receive a wristband that is good for the entire four-day event.

“We are very excited to have this tremendous event back in Littlejohn Coliseum for the third year,” said Meredith Merritt, Littlejohn Coliseum event coordinator. “Events like Tiger Paw Classic not only benefit the gymnasts but Clemson and its community. We look forward to the high level of competition this year’s gymnasts are bringing.”
