Rain barrel and garden workshops at Charleston Water Week canceled

CHARLESTON — The “Day of rain” rain barrel and rain garden workshops scheduled for July 11 at the Carolina Yard Living Classroom in Exchange Park have been canceled.

A shorter program will be scheduled at a different location.

Charleston Water Week, which ends Sunday, is hosted by The Sustainability Institute and Charleston Waterkeeper, and sponsored by the Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium, Carolina Clear’s pollution awareness initiative in the Lowcountry, a Clemson University Restoration Institute program.
