Beatlemania coming to Clemson
CLEMSON — They’re not The Beatles, but they may be the next best thing. Beatlemania Now will bring its multimedia and live musical performance to Clemson University’s Tillman Hall auditorium Sunday, June 21. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available at TicketMaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or at the Littlejohn Coliseum box office from noon to 6 p.m. Mondays. Tickets are $26.50 plus fees for premium general admission seating and $21.50 plus fees for regular general admission seating.
Beatlemania Now features a stage show that includes more than 30 of The Beatles classic hits set to a backdrop of news clips, documentary reels and movie and concert footage, all designed to capture the intensity and excitement of the 1960s. Originally conceived and produced by David Krebs and Steve Leber, "Beatlemania" debuted in Broadway theaters in 1977 to critical acclaim. Re-formed from cast members of the original production, Beatlemania Now is the only revival tour of the original Broadway production.
“This is a great opportunity to do something special for your dad so bring him out to Tillman for Father’s Day,” said Tillman Hall auditorium director Wendy Gregus.
Gregus said Tillman Hall auditorium will host more events later this year. Check www.clemsonmajorevents.com for more information.
