4-H Savannah Valley Regional Presentation Contest set for March 28

ORANGEBURG — The 4-H Savannah Valley Regional Presentation Contest is scheduled from 3:30 to 7 p.m. March 28 at the Orangeburg County Extension Office. The cost is $5.

Young people 5-19 years old may participate in the event. Information on how presentations will be judged and how to prepare your presentation can be found at http://www.clemson.edu/extension/4h/volunteers/volunteer_resources.html.  

The purpose of the contest is to allow them to showcase their public speaking and demonstration skills. They must compete in the regional contest to qualify for the 4-H state presentation contest April 18 in Columbia.  

To register, call your local extension office. Participants must register by March 24.
