Clemson extension to hold commercial vegetable meeting
GREENVILLE — The Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service will conduct an Upstate commercial vegetable meeting from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the University Center of Greenville auditorium, 225 S. Pleasantburg, Drive, Greenville. The event is free.
The training is open to anyone who is interested in commercial vegetable production.
The program will include controlling cucurbit diseases, butterbean and southern pea production, cucumber production, controlling cucurbit insects and vegetable post-harvest. Pesticide credits will be provided.
A barbecue meal will be served. Contact Kim at 864-596-2993, ext. 0, to register. The cost of the meeting is being sponsored by Baron Johnson, Helena Chemical Co.
