Anderson County 4-H to hold Kids in the Kitchen Day camps April 6-9

ANDERSON — Anderson County 4-H is offering Kids in the Kitchen day camps for children ages 8 to 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. each afternoon April 6-9. The cost is $10 per class, which includes program materials and a snack. 

April 6 is for young people ages 14-18; April 7 is for ages 11-13; April 8 is for ages 8-10; and April 9 is for ages 5-7.

Participants will learn how to prepare and cook healthy snacks, baked goods and meals as well as learn about healthy lifestyles.

The day camps will be held at the Anderson County extension office. Camps are limited to 12 participants each day, so preregistration is required.
