Clemson extension Community Outreach Fair May 9 in Berkeley County

BERKELEY COUNTY — The Clemson University Extension Service in Berkeley County has scheduled a Community Outreach Fair 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 9 at Cane Bay High School. Admission is free.

Berkeley County extension will provide information on food and nutrition, shopping smart, 4-H, family financial planning guides, growing your own garden with local Master Gardeners and home economics.

Many businesses and nonprofit agencies will have booths set up for participants to get information on such topics as saving on utility costs, banking matters and surviving in challenging economic times. There also will be children's activities.
