Clemson extension offers home canning class June 6

GREENVILLE — Clemson University's extension service in Greenville is offering a canning class for people who would like to learn how to can food at home or just need a refresher course on canning basics.

The class will be from 1 to 5 p.m. June 6 at the Clemson extension office, 301 University Ridge, Suite 4300, Greenville. The cost is $20 per person.

The workshop will cover the basics of pressure and water bath canning and will include a demonstration of tomato canning.
