This 150 page, softcover guide gives practical, step-by-step instructions on how to implement the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program at the schoolwid and community level. The CD-ROM contains background information on bullying, schoolwide implementation checklists, a Bullying Prevention Coordinating Committee workbook, outlines for staff trainings and discussion groups, sample press releases, guides for individual interventions, posters and other program promotional materials, information on cyber-bullying, and much more.

Olweus Bullying Questionnaire (2007)

The Olweus Bullying Questionnaire is a standardized, validated, multiple-choice, anonymous designed to measure a number of aspects of bullying problems in schools. It is used with students in grades 3 through 12. The questionnaire is implemented prior to the start of the program, and at regular (yearly) intervals thereafter.

The Olweus Bullying Questionnaire contains 42 questions. Hazelden will process your questionnaires and provide in-depth reports. You will receive a standard report with narrative that interprets the results and graphs of key data for use in PowerPoint presentations (including comparisons to a national database). You also may purchase a trend report for an individual school or school district to examine changes in student responses over time. A Spanish translation is available.

Olweus Bully Victim Questionnaire with Accompanying PC Program and Manual

This CD-ROM contains the original student questionnaire and reporting software for the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. With this option, you may print out the questionnaires, administer them, manually enter the results into the reporting software, and tabulate the result to obtain information on the amount and type of bullying in your school. There is no expiration date for the program.

This guide, published in 1998, contains ten lessons focused on three sequential themes (creating rules, talking about teasing and bullying, and exploring courage). Class discussions, role plays, creative writing activities, physical games and exercise and connections to children's literature give children a vocabulary and a framework that helps them understand the distinction between teasing and bullying. Recommend one per teacher (grades K-3).
