How do I get access to Cascade?
Submit the request form and someone from OWS will contact you directly.
Are there online resources that teach how to use Cascade?
Yes, you can find online resources on the CCIT site at http://www.clemson.edu/ccit/support_services/it_support/computer_training/Cascade_cms/index.html.
Do I have to use Cascade to create and maintain my site?
No, you are not required to use Cascade. It is suggested for consideration because it is available to make your job easier and to allow non-technical users to create and maintain professional-looking sites. It is up to you if you want to take advantage of the service. We highly recommend using Cascade as it will help us create a unified Web presence as well as ensure compliance with Section 508.
Is Section 508 really important?
Incredibly. Accessibility issues are regulated by the state, and as a public university, we MUST adhere to these regulations. Please review the Office of Web Services' governance page and CCIT's Web pages on Section 508 compliancy for more information.
There is a photograph I want, but I don't see it in the image catalog. How can I get it?
