External funds granted to the PES faculty are the major source of assistantships and research support. Thus, admission preference is given to applicants whose research interest matches that of one of the faculty. The applicants are encouraged to contact individual faculty with similar research interest. Research Assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis.
CU Graduate School Fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis.
