- If you have a spouse or partner who would like assistance finding employment in the area, Flora Riley at the Michelin Career Center at (864) 656-6000 on campus is available to help.
Resources to help you once you BECOME a faculty member at Clemson University:
- The Office of the Registrar provides a plethora of information, including academic calendars, procedures for setting a course schedule, information on advising and all needed forms.
- Faculty Senate is a group of representatives from across campus, serving as the official link between the faculty and the administration. Their Web site provides a faculty manual, as well as a glimpse into current matters being addressed.
- You can explore the University’s official policies and procedures, as outlined by Human Resources. Here, you’ll find information including holidays, medical benefits and the employee assistance program.
- The Faculty Ombudsman is available listen to grievances and help you work out issues related to your work. You may contact the ombudsman by emailing ombudsman@clemson.edu or by calling either (864) 656-4957 or (864) 656-4353.
- The Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation is dedicated to fostering communication and understanding among faculty, providing resources and workshops to support the teaching community at Clemson.
- Other resources for faculty include the President’s Commission on the Status of Women and the President’s Commission on the Status of Black Faculty and Staff.
