Applying to Clemson University
Admission to Clemson University is competitive and based on the applicant’s high school record, class rank and SAT I or ACT scores and choice of majors. Final application deadlines are May 1 for the fall semester and December 15 for the spring semester, with December 1 as the deadline to ensure notification by February 15. An interview is not required, though a campus visit is highly encouraged.
When applying to Clemson, freshman applicants should:
- Submit a completed online application;
- Send an official high school transcript with senior year courses listed; and
- Request official SAT I or ACT scores to be sent to Clemson directly from the testing agency.
