Each year, Clemson University offers admissions to over 1,000 transfer students. Will you be one of them? The University recognizes the strengths of a transfer class and is committed to the special needs of the individual student. When you visit our campus, please come by the Office of Admissions and talk with one of our counselors. An appointment is not necessary. We will be happy to discuss the transfer process with you. Please bring a copy of your transcript(s) so that a counselor can make any necessary recommendations.
Application deadlines are December 1 for consideration for the spring semester and July 1 for consideration for the fall semester. In most cases, admission decisions will be made once the year of college study is completed. Transfer students who wish to apply for Maymester, Summer Session I or II should submit their application at least two weeks before classes begin. Admission is closed when all classroom space has been committed.
