The Textile Chemistry and Textile Science Transfer Articulation Block consists of 31 credits, which satisfies all freshman year requirements. A supplemental block (33 credits) of additional courses (general education courses, mainly) that may be taken before transfer has also been defined.

(1) On-campus students take an introductory course in textile manufacturing. Where it is available, TEX 101 can be taken rather than SPC 205 before transfer. However, taking this course after transfer will pose no problems in meeting graduation requirements in a timely fashion.
Supplemental Block -- additional courses applicable toward a textile chemistry or textile science degree that can be taken at a TEC campus. Taking courses in this list before transfer lightens the student's credit load during textile study at the senior institution and can reduce the minimum number of semesters required to graduate after transfer.
