Textile Management Transfer Block

The Textile Management Transfer Articulation Block consists of 32 credits, which satisfies all freshman year requirements. A supplemental block (24 credits) of additional courses (general education courses, mainly) that may be taken before transfer has also been defined.

1) On-campus students take two introductory courses in textiles. Where it is available, TEX 101 and TEX 201 can be taken rather than the courses in speech, economics and literature. However, taking these courses after transfer will pose no problems in meeting graduation requirements in a timely fashion.

Supplemental Block -- additional courses applicable toward a textile management degree that can be taken at a TEC campus. Taking courses in this list before transfer lightens the student's credit load during textile study at the senior institution and can reduce the minimum number of semesters required to graduate after transfer.
