Transfer Blocks for Specific Degree Programs

In compliance with SC Act 137, the following Transfer Blocks taken at any two-year public institution in South Carolina shall be accepted in their totality toward meeting baccalaureate degree requirements at all four-year public institutions in relevant four-year degree programs. If you are definitely planning on transferring to Clemson and know exactly what you wish to major in, you are advised to follow the curriculum outline in Clemson's Undergraduate Announcements for the degree which you plan to pursue. If you do not know to which four-year S.C. public institution you plan to transfer, or which degree you plan to pursue, follow the Transfer Blocks below.

Secondary education majors and students seeking certification who are not majoring in teacher education should consult the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences or the Math and Science transfer blocks, as relevant, to assure transferability of course work.

Nursing

For students entering the RN-BSN completion program, any nursing credits granted as free electives will be evaluated on an individual basis.

By statewide agreement, at least 60 semester hours shall be accepted by any public four-year institution toward the baccalaureate completion program (BSN) from graduates of any South Carolina public associate degree program in nursing (ADN), provided that the program is accredited by the National League of Nursing and that the graduate has successfully passed the National Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and is a currently licensed Registered Nurse.
