American Cancer Society Receives 
Contribution at Garrison Arena

     CLEMSON -- The South Carolina Chapter of the American Cancer
Society will receive $8,000 dollars from the S.C. Ladies Walking
Horse Auxiliary on Sept. 21 at Clemson University's T. Ed.
Garrison Livestock Arena. 
     The money was raised during the S.C. Ladies Auxiliary
Walking Horse Show held April 12-13 at Garrison Arena. A check
will be presented to the Cancer Society during the South Carolina
State Walking Horse Championship held Sept. 20-21. 
     "We are excited to be able to give this much money," said
Landis Johnson, president of the Ladies Walking Horse Auxiliary.
"The money will be used to help cancer victims in South
Carolina."
