The program is designed to interest all South Carolinians with a potpourri of topics that will include business, politics, legislative information, the arts, consumer related and human- interest features. It will also include professional chefs to help with cooking and presentation tips. "Your Day" will air four days a week. All of Clemson University's regularly scheduled programs, including "Just Ask Us," "Got Bugs?," "Palmetto Gardening" and "The Calhoun Lecture Series," as well as National Public Radio's top of the hour newscast and a bottom of the hour local newscast will be included in "Your Day." "I think this program has a chance to open a new era for us. It gives us the opportunity to communicate with a much larger audience, and a much more diverse audience than we've had before," said Clemson University President Jim Barker. "I think it is a wonderful way to tell Clemson's story," he said. "I really look forward to the impact it's going to have." "This program is only possible because of the successes of the other programs that Clemson radio has implemented this past year," said Roy Scott, director of the Public Service Activities Marketing and Public Relations Department at Clemson. "The award winning program 'Just Ask Us,' 'Palmetto Gardening' and the hurricane preparedness specials are just a few of the programs that have helped us get to this point.
