Clemson's PSA Media Relations
office gets new coordinator

     CLEMSON -- Don Munson has been named media relations coordinator
for Clemson University's division of Public Service and Agriculture
(PSA). He assumed his new duties on Jan. 8.
     Munson was formerly the operations manager for the Clemson Sports
Network, where he was responsible for coordination of network
broadcasts. He also hosted and produced network broadcasts, coaches
call-in shows and a five-minute daily Clemson Sports Update show.
     In his new position, Munson will supervise the activities of 
the Clemson PSA Media Relations unit.
     "We are very pleased to bring a media professional of Mr. 
Munson's experience to this management position," said Roy Scott,
Clemson's director of PSA Marketing and Public Relations. "He will 
work closely with PSA directors, faculty and staff to increase
awareness of our vital public service activities."
     Munson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications 
from Appalachian State University in 1984.
