Ed Garrison Arena on Saturday, Oct. 12. Four Daze, a five-piece modern rock band from Spartanburg, will take the stage at 10 p.m. Two local bands, Rebel from Seneca and Breakdown from Greenville, will begin their performances at 7 p.m. "We are really looking forward to this performance," said Justin Jones, Four Daze's lead vocalist. "We have been playing at Edgar's Pub for a couple of years and we just love playing in Clemson. Our fans are incredibly supportive. We have a very active street team in the area and they work really hard to promote the band and our shows." Four Daze's songs have a raw and edgy sound with a blend of hard rock rhythms, wailing guitar leads, powerful percussion, dynamic vocals and soulful, haunting lyrics. Four Daze's debut album, "Bleed For You," was released in 1999. General admission advance tickets are $11. Admission will be $15 at the door. Tickets go on sale Thursday, Oct. 3, at Rogers Stereo in Anderson, Easley, Greenville and Spartanburg. They will also be available at the Mellow Mushroom on College Avenue in Clemson and Phil's Music in Mauldin. The first 800 people through the door are automatically upgraded to floor seats. Doors open at 5 p.m. The event is sponsored by Funbucks. All proceeds from the event will go to an area high school marching band equipment fund.
