The Alliance for Small Businesses and Nonprofit Organizations, and the Department of Management at Clemson University are co-sponsoring a free course designed to improve your ability to use the Internet to locate business assistance. The course will be conducted in a state-of-the-art computer-training lab in Greenville County's new Hughes Library on Heritage Green Place in downtown Greenville. Topics will include: current human resources laws; money-saving tips; ways to market products and services to consumers; and financial issues. "This training program will increase the probability of success for small businesses and nonprofit organizations by bringing knowledge to the fingertips of owners and managers," said Ben Smith, area manager of the Small Business Development Center at Clemson University.
