Sprouting Communities: Seasonal plants and crafts is a horticultural business operated by students from Seneca Middle School who are developing life skills while earning money. A long-standing holiday tradition at the SCBG is our Wreath Making Workshop. Join SCBG staff members Christine Drais and Carey Burriss and create a long-lasting fresh wreath for your front door or over your fireplace. Using fresh holiday greenery and dried materials, you will learn the secrets to making a gorgeous wreath. $40 fee, includes all materials. 4:30 - 7 p.m. Nature Learning Center. The Fran Hanson Discovery Center will feature a variety of trees donated by local growers and decorated by Master Gardeners, garden clubs and civic organizations. Clay Dog Studio artists Terry Culbreth and Marsha Langston are the Featured Artists of the Month. Some of their work is available at the Carriage House Gift Shop. The Bob Campbell Geology Museum will be decorated for the holidays. Hand-made natural mineral ornaments are available at the Museum Gift Shop.
