Botanical Garden CLEMSON -- The Heritage Holidays continue on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fran Hanson Discovery Center. Come enjoy the Christmas trees donated by local growers in each room of the Center. The trees were decorated by local garden clubs and organizations with each region of the S.C. National Heritage Corridor in mind. The Turn-of-the-Century Barbershop Quartet will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Old time fiddle music man Briggs Hamilton will also perform. Storytellers and other musical guests will entertain as well. Come again on Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Heritage Holiday finale. The Handbell Choir from Trinity Baptist Church of Seneca will be at the Center from 10 a.m. to noon; Julia Roper of America Reads will read stories; and Tommy Harper will sing country gospel at noon. The Carriage House Coffee and Gift Shop have a great selection of gifts. Sip an eggnog cafe latte while you shop and get a bonus discount at the register. The Garden is on the Clemson University campus at the intersection of Highway 76 and Perimeter Road.
