Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Aug. 30 -- Libby Hoyle, Clemson University packaging science professor, and Sue Hovey, Clemson Extension agent, makes Italian Bread Sticks. Lisa Wagner, S.C. Botanical Garden’s education director, and Wendy Farnum, of the Heritage Corridor, show the Butterfly Garden and discuss tips on how to create your own garden. Tuesday, Aug. 31 -- Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, discusses bottled water and what you should look for when buying. Bob Polomski, Clemson University urban horticulturist, talks with Bill Head about native S.C. plants. Wednesday, Sept. 1 -- Candace Cummings, urban wildlife specialist, with McPhail, talks about varieties of frogs and the water they like the most. David Bradshaw, Clemson University horticulture professor, looks at some perennials in the sun at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Clemson. Thursday, Sept. 2 -- Kristen Welch, Clemson Extension agent, visits Cooley Farm and makes a fruit salad. Beth Wall, entomology graduate assistant, visits Clemson’s Bottomlands. Friday, Sept. 3 – David Bradshaw, Clemson University horticulture professor, gives us tips on okra, goober peas and field peas. Bennett and McPhail answer viewers questions. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The Carolina Channel. It is also scheduled to run on RFDTV, which airs on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409. END
