Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Dec. 20 -- Heather Batt, Clemson University packaging science, responds to a request by discussing making spicy pumpkin bread. Beth Kunkel, Clemson University professor in the food science and human nutrition department, talks about seasonal foods. Tuesday, Dec. 21 -- John, a viewer, asked about "clabber", or yogurt, so Anne Marie Beiter, Clemson University graduate student in the food science and human nutrition department, talks about making yogurt. Elizabeth Hill, Clemson Extension agent, then talks about making an asparagus walnut stir fry. Wednesday, Dec. 22 -- Linda Dzuris, Clemson University professor of music and carillionneur, gets us into the holiday season with Christmas bells. Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle and Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw discuss pumpkin pie. Then Host Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett talks about "The South Carolina Cookbook.” Thursday, Dec. 23 -- Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist, and Sue Hovey, Clemson Extension agent, talk about an apple chicken recipe. Friday, Dec. 24 – Clemson Extension Horticulturists Bob Polomski and Jim Faust talk about the different varieties of poinsettias. Then Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw continues in the holiday spirit with mistletoe. Beth Kunkel, Clemson University professor in the food science and human nutrition department, explains how to leave cookies and eggnog for Santa. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The South Carolina Channel. It is also scheduled to run on RFDTV on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. , which airs on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409.
