At Home, Southern Style TV
schedule for week of July 5

     CLEMSON – “At Home, Southern Style,” a Clemson University TV program, will air on the South Carolina Educational Television Network for the week of July 5. Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m.

     Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs.

     Monday, July 5 -- Lisa Wagner, S.C. Botanical Garden’s education director, and Wendy Farnum, of the Heritage Corridor, take us to the S.C. Botanical Garden.
      Libby Hoyle, Clemson University packaging science professor, and McPhail preserve tomatoes.

      Tuesday, July 6 -- Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, visits the Greenville Farmers Market to see unusual foods.
      Bob Polomski, Clemson University urban horticulturist, visits Lynn Finely's garden in Anderson.

     Wednesday, July 7 -- Kristen Welch, Clemson Extension agent, goes on location with peach grower James Cooley.
      Kathy Wright, Clemson Extension agent, talks with McPhail about getting off the financial merry-go-round.

     Thursday, July 8 -- Elizabeth Hill, Clemson Extension agent, prepares chicken with herbs.                                                                                                 David Bradshaw, Clemson University horticulture professor, finishes his landscape renovation project.

     Friday, July 9 -- Bradshaw gives us tips from the Heirloom Garden.
Kunkel discusses food misconceptions.

     At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The Carolina Channel. It is also scheduled to run on RFDTV, which airs on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409.
