At Home, Southern Style TV
schedule for week of June 28
CLEMSON -- "At Home, Southern Style," a
Clemson University TV program, will air on the South Carolina Educational
Television Network for the week of June 28. Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff
Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program
each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m.
Viewers may ask questions about a subject that
was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864)
656-3204 or at the shows website at http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions
will be answered on selected Friday programs.
Celebrating Our One Year Anniversary with some
of the most requested shows from 2003.
Monday, June 28 -- David Bradshaw,
Clemson Extension horticulturist, and Mike Watkins of the South Carolina Foundation
Seed Association, shows unusual seeds form the Heirloom Seed collection.
Ashley Meeks, Clemson University horticulture student, makes a bamboo fish
tank.
Tuesday June 29 -- Libby Hoyle,
Clemson University packaging science professor, and Amy Nichols, owner of Main
Street Catering, roast beets and turnips.
Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science
professor, shows how to really enjoy chocolate.
Wednesday, June 30 -- Our
all time most requested show -- Heather Scott, graduated horticulture student,
makes balloon magnolias.
Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension horticulturist, takes travels to one of his
favorite places to look at aquatic plants.
Thursday, July 1 -- Kristen
Welch, Clemson Extension agent, is in the peach orchard making fruit salad.
Katherine, title, and Melissa Cason make ice cream.
Friday, July 2 -- Elizabeth
Hill, Clemson Extension agent, makes Rutabaga Potato salad.
George Kessler, Clemson University forestry professor,
shows the danger of dark damage on trees.
At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The
Carolina Channel. It is also scheduled to run on RFDTV, which airs on Direct
TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409.
