Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, May 10 -- Lisa Wagner, education director for the S.C. Botanical Garden, and Wendy Farnum, of the Heritage Corridor, look at plants that attract butterflies. Libby Hoyle, Clemson University packaging science professor, and Amy Nichols of Main Event Catering, make sweet and sour vegetables. Tuesday, May 11 -- George Kessler, retired Clemson University professor of Forest Resources, explains how to control Southern Pine Beetle. Hoyle and Dottie Ryan, program coordinator for SUDIA, talk about the snacks we eat while watching sporting events. Wednesday, May 12 -- Candace Cummings, Clemson University urban wildli specialist, and McPhail make suet for the birds. Wagner and Farnum show us perennials in the S.C. Botanical Garden on the Clemson University campus. Thursday, May 13 -- David Bradshaw, Clemson University horticulture professor, shows us all about snake plants. Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, takes us out to dinner the healthy way with Chef Tom Brocallia. Friday, May 14 -- Kessler takes us on a walk in the woods and shows us damaged tree bark. Hoyle and McPhail talk about processing food. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The Carolina Channel. It is also scheduled to run on RFDTV, which airs on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409. END
