Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Nov. 29 – South Carolina Botanical Garden ’s Education Director Lisa Wagner walks through the S.C. Botanical Garden in the area designed as a habitat for birds. Marilyn Peters, Clemson Extension agent, demonstrates how to bake fish that taste good and is good for us. Tuesday, Nov. 30 -- David Bradshaw, Clemson Extension horticulturist, takes a look at his fall garden and gives some excellent gardening tips. Wednesday, Dec. 1 -- Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist, and Dotty Ryan, registered dietitian with the American Dairy Council, show how to have a delicious and safe tailgating meal. Thursday, Dec. 2 -- Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension horticulturist, and Bill Head, owner of Head-Lee Nursery near Seneca, demonstrates how to prepare soil for planting. Friday, Dec. 3 -- Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, shows food mixes that are great for gifts Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw shows how to give house plants a face lift. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The South Carolina Channel. It is also scheduled to run on RFDTV, which airs on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409.
