Find Mother's Day gifts
at the Garden gift shop

     CLEMSON -- Come to the Fran Hanson Discovery Center's Garden Gift
Shop at the South Carolina Botanical Garden for a great sale on gifts
for Mother's Day.
     The sale begins April 27 and runs through May 9.
     "We have a great selection of gardening books, decorations, bird
houses, candles and much more," said Christine Drais, S.C. Botanical
Garden public relations director. "The Garden Gift Shop has just what
you need to give your mom."
     Clemson University staff and students will receive a 25% discount
and the public will receive a 20% discount.

     Hours of operations are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and
Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
     The garden is on the Clemson University campus at the intersection
of highway 76 and Silas Pearman Blvd. It encompasses 295 acres of
gardens, streams and woodlands, and is open year-round from sunrise to
sunset, free of charge.
