Nancy Porter, state program leader for Family and Consumer Sciences and an Extension family resource management specialist, will be recognized by The American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences along with seven other team members on June 29 at the association's annual meeting in San Diego. "Receiving a national award from a professional association is an honor," said Porter. "It not only acknowledges the excellent work of this team, but also Clemson's commitment to the people of South Carolina through public service." IFYF is a basic investor education program that is part of the Financial Security in Later Life national initiative of the Cooperative Extension Service and the United States Department of Agriculture. The program consists of an online course that can be found at www.investing.rutgers.edu. A home study course is also available in print from the Natural Resource, Agriculture and Engineering Service at www.nraes.org. The curriculum is also available as a six-week class series and monthly investment updates are posted to the course web site.
