At Home, Southern Style TV special to air on SCETV

CLEMSON – Because of the epidemic of obesity in children, The South Carolina Educational Television Network will air a special “At Home, Southern Style” TV program on Sunday, Aug. 22, at 4 p.m., on children and nutrition.

The 30-minute program will feature Libby Hoyle, a Clemson University professor in the department of packaging science, and Katherine Cason, a Clemson University professor in the department of food science and human nutrition. Some of the discussion will be on nutritious breakfasts for children, what to look for in vending machines and other places, and food safety. Other experts will be featured in the program.

The program is produced by the Clemson University Communications Center. END
