DATE: 10/26/04 WRITER: Diane Palmer, (864) 656-4741 Harvest Concert Series concludes Oct. 28 CLEMSON -- The last of the five Harvest Concert Series will be held Oct. 28 on the lawn of the S.C. Botanical Garden ’s Discovery Center from 6 to 9 p.m. “Concert goers will get to listen to old time mountain and bluegrass music,” said Christine Drais, public relations director of the S.C. Botanical Garden . Steve McGaha and Dean Watson will perform as well as a jam session with Terry Tritt, with the Grass Roots Revue, and Pat Welsh, with the Curtis Blackwell and the Dixie Bluegrass Boys, and other guests. Admission is $3 per person. Children ages 4 and under are admitted free. Artists will be set up inside the Discovery Center at the indoor art show and bazaar. Home cooked food and drinks will be for sale at the Carriage House Café during the show or bring your own picnic basket. For more information call the S. C. The Garden is located on the Clemson University campus at the intersection of Highway 76 and Silas Pearman Blvd. It encompasses 295 acres of gardens, streams and woodlands, and is open year-round from sunrise to sunset, free of charge.
