     CLEMSON -- The following "Your Day" radio programs from Clemson University Radio Productions are scheduled to air on the South Carolina Educational Radio Network for the week of July 19.       MONDAY, JULY 19 – S.C. Focus -- The Ethics of Taking Sides. Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs talks with Stephen Satris, a Calhoun Lemon Fellow of Clemson University’s Rutland Center for Ethics and author of the unique text, Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Controversial Moral Issues.
      Community Matters -- Community Living on a College Campus. Kerry Coffey of the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life, talks with Kim Jones, associate director for residential life at Clemson University.
      Out & About -- Edisto Island Sea Turtles. We learn about the Loggerhead sea turtle as we explore the Edisto Beach State Park with Interpretive Ranger Elaine Freeman.

       TUESDAY, JULY 20 -- Palmetto Gardening -- A live call-in segment on lawn and garden issues with Charleston County Extension Agent F. Brian Smith.        Got Bugs? -- A live call-in segment on insects, spiders and other household pests.       WEDNESDAY, JULY 21 -- Food for Thought -- Extension in Alaska. Libby Hoyle, Extension food and nutrition specialist in the Clemson University Department of Packaging Sciences, travels to the University of Alaska at Fairbanks to visit some of her counterparts in the state of Alaska.
       Pet Talk -- A live call-in program on pet health care issues. Glenn Birrenkott of the Clemson University Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, hosts Dr. Bobby Long of Magnolia Veterinary Clinic in Anderson. Listeners may call in with questions via the toll-free number: 888-539-8859.

       THURSDAY, JULY 22 -- Focus on the Future -- Freedom’s Answer. Donna London of the Jim Self Center on the Future, talks with Parker King, a recent graduate of Daniel High School, about his involvement in a national voter turnout campaign led by high school students.
       Out & About -- Bio-ceramics Research. Peter Kent talks with research associate Cuneyt Tas, of Clemson University’s School of Materials Science & Engineering, and Chris Han, a high school student at the SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics.
      Lifestyles for your Health -- Jon Keith talks with Dr. Brian J Silverstein about Sg2, an organization that provides medical professionals with leading edge information on changes in the technology, financing and delivery of healthcare services.
       Chef’s Table -- Lowcountry Gumbo. Libby Hoyle, Extension food and nutrition specialist in the Clemson University Department of Packaging Sciences, visits the Palmer Campus of Trident Technical College in Charleston and talks with Lois Oden, student chef in the Hospitality, Tourism, and Culinary Arts program.
