At Home, Southern Style TV schedule for week of April 11  

CLEMSON -- "At Home, Southern Style," a Clemson University TV program, will air on the South Carolina Educational Television Network for the week of April 11. Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m.  

Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs.

  Monday, April 11 -- Libby Hoyle, Clemson University packaging science professor, and Dotty Ryan, Clemson University Extension agent, talks about teaching kids good food habits.   Beth Kunkle, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, talks about the glycemic index.  

Tuesday, April 12 -- Bob Polomski, Clemson University urban horticulturist, visits John Elsley, local horticulturist in Greenwood, and discusses the garden rooms around his garden.   David Bradshaw, Clemson University horticulture professor, visits host Jeff Bennett’s home to discuss renovation of the landscape.

Wednesday, April 13 – Beth Kunkle, Clemson University food science and nutrition professor, discusses baby food.   George Kessler, Clemson University professor, will discuss the Southern Pine Beetle in his Tree Talk segment.  

Thursday, April 14 – Katherine, Clemson University professor, and Melissa Cason, continue their Kids in the Kitchen with discussion on healthy snacks.   Beth Kunkle, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, discusses great ideas for summer suppers.  

Friday, April 15 – Brooke Woodell, former Clemson University horticulture student, shows how to make a bridal bouquet.   Jennifer Leckenby, Clemson University nutrition student from Anderson, talks about feeding toddlers.   At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The Carolina Channel. It is also scheduled to run on RFDTV, which airs on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409.
