At Home, Southern Style TV schedule for week of April 4

CLEMSON -- "At Home, Southern Style," a Clemson University TV program, will air on the South Carolina Educational Television Network for the week of April 4. Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m.

Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/.

Monday, April 4 -- Karen Russ, of the Home and Garden Information Center, talks about the center and how to access the information. Then Kelly Gillespie, Clemson University student from Greenville majoring in communications, interviews Carol Miller, counselor with Redford Health Center, about coping with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).

Tuesday, April 5 --The new Food Guide Pyramid is quite different from the old one. Clemson University Professor Beth Kunkel talks about the changes with fruits and vegetables. Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw displays some beautiful Foxgloves and talks about how to grow them.

Wednesday, April 6 -­ Clemson Extension Agent at the Home and Garden Informaton Center Joey Williamson tells Host Ann Lee McPhail about Helleborus and then Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw shows how to prune azaleas that are suffering from die back.

Thursday, April 7 -- Clemson Extension Horticulturist Bob Polomski and Ted Whitwell of the Clemson University Horticulture Department take a look at winter weeds...and the surprise is, they look pretty good.

Friday, April 8-- Rhonda Matthews, Clemson Extension agent in Abbeville and Greenwood, shows how to make shrimp and pasta salad. Then Jim Faust and Bob Polomski, from the Clemson University Horticulture Department, shows how to design a container garden.

At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The Carolina Channel and RFDTV. RFDTV airs on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409.

Scheduled for The Carolina Channel and RFDTV for the week April 4:
