Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Aug. 8 – Host Ann Lee McPhail visits with Bill Head of Head-Lee Nursery about Crape Myrtle. Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Professor Libby Hoyle takes a tour of the Vineyards on Wadmalaw island. Tuesday, Aug. 9 – Host Jeff Bennett and Clemson University Culinary Science student David Howel make shrimp and grits. Wednesday, Aug. 10 – Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Professor Libby Hoyle talks with food entrepreneurs Jane Burns and Harriett Kinard, about a new product, Lotus Chips. Lisa Farnum, Clemson University volunteer, takes a tour of the S.C. Botanical Garden where Lisa Wagner, academic program director of the S.C. Botanical Garden , displays easy to grow plants. Thursday, Aug. 11 -- Scott Whiteside, Clemson University packaging science professor, shows Host Jeff Bennett the research kitchen that is on the Clemson University campus. Friday, Aug. 12 -- David Bradshaw, Clemson Extension horticulturist, demonstrates the "how to' on organic gardening. Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Professor Libby Hoyle learns about a wine festival at Irving Vineyards. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The South Carolina Channel. END
