Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the show’s website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/ . Monday, Dec. 5 If you think there is no color in the garden this time of year, guess again. Chuck Burgess, horticulturist with the Home and Garden Information Center , displays the Beauty Berry. Then S.C. Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers talks about a new form of fuel, E 80. Tuesday, Dec. 6 Butternut Squash are a great and versatile vegetable this time of year. Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist, and Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw are in the kitchen cooking squash. Then Clemson University Urban Wildlife Specialist Candace Cummings and Host Ann Lee McPhail look at some of the "not so great" things that can happen when you have a wildlife habitat. Wednesday, Dec. 7 - Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle and Sue Hovey, Clemson Extension agent, make Holiday Bread. Then Katherine Cason, Clemson University food and nutrition specialist, and her daughter Melissa, make PBA Wraps. Thursday, Dec. 8 Shrimp Stir Fry looks so easy the way Clemson Extension Agent Rhonda Mathews makes it. Then Heather Batt, Clemson University packaging science department, makes Pumpkin Bread. Check out this recipe on our web page. Friday, Dec. 9 – Host Jeff Bennett and Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle discuss how to mail food the proper way.
