Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Feb. 7 – Clemson Extension Agent Carolyn Harris begins a week long series on mold. Today is how to get mold off boots and checking for the real cause. Then Clemson Extension Horticulturist Bob Polomski and Bill Head of Head Lee Nursery, look at colorful house plants. Clemson Extension Urban Wildlife Specialist Candace Cummings shows which bird seed to use in attract various birds. Tuesday, Feb. 8 – Clemson Extension Agent Carolyn Harris continues the moisture series with "Is your house too dry or too moist?" Then, Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle and Host Ann Lee McPhail look at the techniques of using bread machines. Wednesday, Feb. 9 -- Ever checked the crawl space in your house for moisture? Clemson Extension Agent Carolyn Harris talks about what we should know in this report. Then Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle looks at designer coffee and Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Beth Kunkel examines caffeine. Thursday, Feb. 10 – Clemson Extension Agent Carolyn Harris continues the series on moisture with "window condensation". South Carolina Botanical Garden ’s Academic Program Director Lisa Wagner and Host Ann Lee McPhail look at seed catalogues. Friday, Feb. 11 -- When do you need to use a dehumidify? Clemson Extension Agent Carolyn Harris explains. Then Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle talks about meat portion size and Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Beth Kunkel displays salads that can be the entire meal.
