At Home, Southern Style TV schedule for week of Mar. 14

CLEMSON -- "At Home, Southern Style," a Clemson University TV program, will air on the South Carolina Educational Television Network for the week of Mar. 14. Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m.  

Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs.

Monday, Mar. 14 -- Lisa Wagner, education director for the S.C. Botanical Garden, and McPhail talk about magnolias, crape myrtles and ornamental grasses in the Botanical Garden.  

Libby Hoyle, Clemson University packaging science professor and Angela Forbes, Clemson University Extension agent, talk about ways to keep your kids healthy.

Tuesday, Mar. 15 -- Beth Kunkle, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, talks about chocolate vitamin D.  

David Bradshaw, Clemson University horticulture professor, talks about pruning roses.  

Wednesday, Mar. 16 -- Bob Polomski, Clemson University urban horticulturist, and Mickey Taylor, Clemson University horticulturist, talk about research on water chestnuts.  

Libby Hoyle, Clemson University packaging science professor, and Marion Craig, barrister of Starbucks in Clemson, talk about different varieties of coffee.  

Thursday, Mar. 17 – Marie Johnson, horticulturist, talks about wildflowers.  

David Bradshaw, Clemson University horticulture professor, visits McPhails’ home and discusses pruning for spring.  

Friday, Mar. 18 — Candace Cummings, urban wildlife specialist, talks about blue bird houses. Beth Kunkle, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, talks about vitamin supplements.
