Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. Monday, March 21-- Jim Faust and Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension horticulturist, go to the greenhouses and show us how to grow hardy annuals. Then Kelly Gillespie, Clemson University student from Greenville majoring in Communications Studies, interviews Carol Miller, Redfern Health Center, about adult ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). Tuesday, March 22 -- If you need a good way to get your children to eat breakfast, get Katherine and her daughter Melissa Cason's recipe for breakfast bars. Cason is a professor in the Food Science Department at Clemson University. Then Lisa Wagner, Educational Director in the S.C. Botanical Garden shows Host, Ann Lee, what is blooming in the gardens. Wednesday, March. 23 - Identity Theft is a big issue. Kathy Wright, Clemson Extension agent in Anderson, tells how to prevent this disaster. Then Elizabeth Hill, Clemson Extension agent in Greenville, gives us a recipe for Plantation Casserole. Thursday, March 24--Karen Russ, horticulturist with the Home and Garden Information Center, shows ornamental grasses to use in our garden. Friday, March 25--Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension nutrition specialist, and Clemson Extension Agent Sue Hovey talk about how C.U. Disorder may affect more people that was once thought. Kelly Gillespie, Clemson University student, talks with Carol Miller of the Redfern Health Center. Then Clemson Extension Agent Sue Hovey and Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle answer a viewer’s request for more recipes on whole grain bread. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The Carolina Channel and RFDTV. RFDTV airs on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. on Direct TV on channel 379 and the Dish Network on channel 9409.
