Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center hosts the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the show’s website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. Monday, Nov. 14 How important is agriculture in South Carolina. We talk with the S.C. Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers and get some very interesting facts. Then we go into the kitchen with Clemson Extension Agent Elizabeth Hill, who is making Spicy Grilled Chicken. Tuesday, Nov. 15- This is part two of our visit to Ridge Springs and the garden of Barbara Yon. Yon is an artist and uses her talent in the garden. Then Elizabeth Hill, Clemson Extension agent, makes pocket sandwiches with chicken. Wednesday, Nov. 16 - This program is devoted entirely to cooking chicken...Apple Chicken. Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist, and Sue Hovey, Clemson Extension agent, make this great dish. Thursday, Nov. 17 -- Lisa Wagner, education director for the S.C. Botanical Garden, and Host Ann Lee McPhail take a look at the Bird Walk in the Garden. Then Clemson Extension Agent Elizabeth Hill cooks up some chicken and rice. Friday, Nov. 18 What is the big deal about a credit report? Terry Wyatt, loan officer with Ag South, explains this. Then Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle and County Extension Agent Sue Hovey will make a Mediterranean chicken dish. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on the South Carolina Channel.
