Monday, Sept. 19 - Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw believes that Fall is the best time to grow a garden...he gives some advice. Tuesday, Sept. 20 Rhonda Matthews of the Clemson Extension Service gives a great recipe for romaine lettuce and strawberries. Then Host Ann Lee McPhail and Candace Cummings, Clemson Extension urban wildlife specialist, travel to the S.C. Botanical Garden to look at beaver damage. Wednesday, Sept. 21 - Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, discusses the new Food Guide Pyramid. Then Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle, and Dotty Ryan, Southeastern Dairy Association, talk about kids and breakfast. Thursday, Sept. 22 Snacks are always good but even better in the car. Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, gives advice. Then George Kessler, retired Clemson Extension forestry professor, discusses transplanting. Friday, Sept. 23 David Bradshaw, Clemson Extension horticulturist, is always talking about the advantages of mulch. This time he uses it with no-till gardening. Then Host Ann Lee McPhail talks with Bill Head of Head Lee Nursery talks about replacements for Leland Cyprus. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on the South Carolina Channel.
