Focus: Fiber Art Quilt Exhibit - Feb. and March
Fiber Art is an exhibit of eight regional quilt designers. This colorful
exhibit of artistic quilts will be on display at the Discovery Center through
March 31. Look for lectures, demonstrations and other related events.

Nature-Based Artist Lecture/Presentation - Feb. 2
Bavarian Artist Nils-Udo has been working with nature since 1972, either
painting it or creating site-specific sculptures using elements of nature. Udo
will be in Clemson at the S.C. Botanical Garden to create another of his nature-based
sculptures. His artwork has appeared in Europe , Japan , India , and North America
. His presentation will be slides and discussion of his nature-based artwork.

Flow Yoga - Thursdays - Feb. 3, 10, 17, & 24
Flow Yoga with Renee Gahan is a course ideal for beginner, intermediate
and experienced yoga students. The class focus is on vinyasa or 'flow yoga' in
addition to the Ashtanga primary series of poses designed to increase strength
and flexibility. Breathing techniques will also be practiced to reduce stress,
induce relaxation and clarity of mind. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga
mat to practice on. Class is limited to 12 students per session.
Fee: $10 per session

First Friday Nature Walk - Feb. 4
Meet at the Red Caboose for an informative walk with Naturalist and
Clemson University Professor David Bradshaw. Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate
dress. Walks generally last between one and two hours.

Winter Lecture Series - Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26
The 2005 Winter Lecture Series provides opportunities to expand your
knowledge about the world of plants and gardens. Register early, as space is
limited for this special garden event. Series runs Saturdays, Feb. 5 - 26. Call

Discovery Center and Garden Gift Shop Hours: Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-4
p.m. and Sun. 1-5 p.m.
Geology Museum Hours: Thurs.-Sat., 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun. 1-5 p.m.
Admission: $3/adults and $2/children 12 and under. Annual passes available.
The Garden is located on the Clemson University campus at the intersection
of Highway 76 and Silas Pearman Blvd. It encompasses 295 acres of gardens,
streams and woodlands, and is open year-round from sunrise to sunset, free
of charge.
