S.C. Championship Walking Horse Show scheduled for Sept. 16-17

The 2005 S.C. Championship Walking Horse Show is scheduled for Sept. 16 – 17 at Clemson University’s T. Ed Garrison Livestock Arena.

The event will run from 6 p.m. to midnight on Sept. 16 and 5 p.m. to midnight on Sept. 16. Cost is $5 for adults per night, $3 for students with identification per night and children under 6 years old are admitted free.

There will be a booth set up that will ask for Red Cross donations. For each $10 donation, participants will receive a small wooden carved cowboy hat. These hats were made and donated by Rodger Carpenter of Seneca, who wants to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
