CLEMSON -- The following "Your Day" radio programs from Clemson University Radio Productions are scheduled to air on South Carolina ETV Radio for the week of April 18. MONDAY, APRIL 18 –- History Flows Through It: The Upstate's Past Through Its Waterways. Dr. Bob Becker, Director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University learns what’s in store for the annual South Carolina Humanities Festival which takes place at multiple venues in Greenville April 22 through 24.

A New Center to Promote Young Children's Safety and Well-Being . Dr. Gary Melton, director of the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life (IFNL) at Clemson University talks with Dr. Linda Merriam of the Riley Child Development and Family Learning Center and Dottie Campbell, Family Support Coordinator.

Artisphere: the International Arts Festival of Greenville. Kim Granner of the SC Children’s Theatre and Upstate actor Michael Craig give us a preview of “Charlie & the Little Splash,” a 15 minute black light puppet theatre performance, sponsored by Fluor Corporation and held in the Peace Center Gunter Theatre on Sunday April 24th at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00, free of charge.

TUESDAY, APRIL 19 – A live call-in segment on gardening in South Carolina . Hosted by retired Lexington County Extension agent Sam Cheatham. A live call-in segment on insects and other household pests. Ask the bug guys about the creatures you’ve encountered. Charlotte Holt hosts Eric Benson, Clemson Extension Urban Entomologist, and Cam Lay, assistant department head for Pesticide Regulation . THURSDAY, APRIL 21 – On the Road in Greenville . Your Day is live at Artisphere: the International Arts Festival of Greenville. We’ll explore the sights, sounds, and tastes of this first annual event.
