iMONDAY, FEB. 28 –- A Federally Guaranteed Market? Dr. Bob Becker, Director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University talks with Dr. John Alexander, Clemson University Breazeale Professor of Financial Planning.

Family Friendly Workplaces. Kerry Coffey of the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life (IFNL) at Clemson University talks with Sarah Conrad, coordinator of the SC Family Friendly Workplace Awards. Shakespeare Across the Arts. Glenn Hare talks with Elizabeth Rivlin, director of the 14th annual Clemson Shakespeare Festival which takes place Sunday-Friday, March 6-11, in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. This year’s festival features the St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre, Actors From The London Stage, prominent scholars, workshops, and films.

THURSDAY, MAR. 3 -- Women of Islam. Donna London of the Jim Self Center on the Future talks with Dr. Kecia Ali, Visiting Scholar in Harvard University’s Women’s Studies in Religion Program and a Mellon post-doctoral fellow in Islamic Studies and Women's Studies at Brandeis University , who will speak this evening on “Sexual Ethics and Islam: New Directions for Feminist Inquiry.” Her address is part of Women and the Sacred: a Lecture Series on Faith and Public Discourse and takes place at 7:00 p.m. tonight in the Self Auditorium of the Strom Thurmond Institute. It is open to the public free of charge.
