CLEMSON -- The following "Your Day" radio programs from Clemson University Radio Productions are scheduled to air on South Carolina ETV Radio for the week of Mar. 21. MONDAY, MAR. 21 –- Patriotism, Politics, Protest: From the Perspective of a Military Philosopher. Dr. Bob Becker, Director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs and Dr. Daniel Wueste, Director of the Rutland Center for Ethics at Clemson University , talk with a recent participant in the University’s Presidential Colloquium. Brigadier General Malham M. Wakin, United States Air Force, retired, served as Major General William Lyon Professor of Professional Ethics at the U.S. Air Force Academy and is the author ofIntegrity First: Reflections of a Military Philosopher .

Challenges facing young adults . Dr. Gary Melton, director of the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life (IFNL) at Clemson University talks with Dr. Frank Furstenberg, Zellenbach Family Prof. of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania and head of the John D. and Catherine T. McArthur Foundation's Network on Transitions to Adulthood.

The Queens of Country Music. Glenn Hare and country music aficionado Dr. Mark Hosler of Clemson University ’s Department of Performing Arts discuss three legends of country music and sample their wares: Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, and Dolly Parton.

TUESDAY, MAR. 22 – The South Carolina 2005 Ag Expo. Reggie Hall, director of the Public Relations & Education Division of the SC Farm Bureau Federation talks with participants in the recent Ag Expo held in Columbia, March 1-2: David Winkles, President of the SC Farm Bureau Federation, Clemson Extension Entomologist J. Powell Smith of the Edisto Research a& Education Center in Blackville, and SC Senator Larry Grooms of District 37. The 46 th Annual Pest Management School . Clemson Extension Entomologist Eric Benson and Cam Lay, assistant department head for Pesticide Regulation talk with participants of the The 46 th Annual Pest Management School held last month in Columbia . W EDNESDAY, MAR. 23 – Bountiful Coast : Foodways of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Currently on display at the Charleston Museum, Bountiful Coast explores the foodways and dining customs of the 18 th and 19 th century Lowcountry by examining the procurement, preparation, and serving of food among all social classes of the period. Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle takes us through the exhibit with Museum a rchaeologist Martha Zierden and local food expert Amanda Dew Manning of Carolina Food Pros.

THURSDAY, MAR. 24 – The Liberty Fellows Program and Values-based Leadership. Donna London of the Jim Self Center on the Future talks with Hayne Hipp, CEO of Liberty Corporation about the Liberty Fellows Program, a collaboration between Liberty Corporation, Wofford College and the Aspen Institute.

25 Years at the Nickelodeon Theatre. Roy Scott talks with Ann Raymond, director of the Nickelodeon Theatre in Columbia , founded and operated by the Columbia Film Society.

More Women of Country Music. Glenn Hare and Dr. Mark Hosler of the Clemson University Department of Performing Arts conclude their discussion of three contemporary queens of country music with an examination of the work of Dolly Parton.

Chicken Entrees . Libby Hoyle, Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist in the Clemson University Department of Packaging Science , visits with Executive Chef Christian Thormose of Cross Creek Plantation in Seneca and Executive Chef Corey Pavuk of the Reserve at Lake Keowee.
